In his presentation, "History and Founding Values, Overcoming Economic Crises, and Key Technologies for Adaptation and a Vision for the Future," Juan Fombella gave a detailed presentation of the European CITADEL Project (https://www.citadel-horizon.eu/), explaining the project's general objectives and the progress made by Cerámica del Nalón in electrifying its tunnel kiln furnece for the refractory sintering, using an innovative microwave plasma heating technology.
